KEITH SIMPSON

Keith

In Memory of Keith who passed away on 9th May 202

Keith was a real character and anyone that met him wouldn’t forget in a hurry. He was passionate about “his trout” and would do whatever it took to maintain their welfare.
The fact that the grounds today are well kept is very much down the legacy he started when he became Club Bosun and Vice Chairman.
Keith overcame his physical restrictions with remarkable courage, determination and tenacity. He would work tirelessly for the Club, very often completely on his own. We were frequently astonished at what he could achieve. He would reward himself with precious time on the slab and grass trying to execute the perfect cast. Casting was as important to Keith as fishing itself.
